To Empower Women

Having owned a successful interior design business for over 20 years, I have recently expanded my services to include life coaching to empower women to be the best that they can be.

As women take on more and more in their lives, it is my feeling that they increasingly need support in the form of a facilitator and advocate to further them along on their journey.

A coach serves that function, and I feel it is a role not unlike the one I’ve played for many years as an interior designer. I listen to people and their dreams and visions for their homes and help them implement a plan to create their ideal living space. In both roles I act as listener and guide to achieve the best outcome.

Coaching is a relatively new field, only 15 years old, beginning with Thomas Leonard in the United States acting as a guide to executives overwhelmed and overburdened by their responsibilities. The concept became so successful that it has become a working model for managers, employees and, finally, individuals dealing with their personal and life goals and transitions. It has become a worldwide phenomenon with coach training institutions all over the world and qualified coaches increasing exponentially with the need.

I have since embarked on the journey to help women in particular, who are looking for a guide in their own personal journey. Having taken the coach training certification program with Coach U and with years of experience as a mother, a wife, a small business owner, and a mentor to young designers I feel I am well equipped to assist anyone who would value a partner, facilitator, an advocate...............in reaching her personal goal.
